Method of entry 

Entry is open to respondents of the Wave 5 survey of the Participant Pathways Research. Respondents under the age of 18 years are not eligible to enter the prize draws.

Entry into the First Prize Draw is open to all those who complete Wave 5 of the survey online or by telephone by 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 30 October 2024.

Entry into the Second Prize Draw is open to all those who complete Wave 5 of the survey by 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 13 November 2024.

Entry into the Third Prize Draw is open to all those who complete Wave 5 of the survey by 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 27 November 2024.

Entry into the Fourth Prize Draw is open to all those who complete Wave 5 the survey by 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 11 December 2024.

Duration of entry period 

The entry period for inclusion in the First Prize Draw is from Thursday 8 October 2024 until 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 30 October 2024.

The entry period for inclusion in the Second Prize Draw is from Thursday 8 October 2024 until 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 13 November 2024.

The entry period for inclusion in the Third Prize Draw is from Thursday 8 October 2024 until 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 27 November 2024.

The entry period for inclusion in the Fourth Prize Draw is from Thursday 8 October  2024 until 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 11 December 2024.

Details of prizes and prize values 

The total value of the prize pool across all four draws is $2,000. The winners will receive an eGiftcard and will not have an option to convert the prize into cash transferred to a nominated bank account.

Prize Draw 1

The first and only entry drawn for this prize draw will receive a $500 eGiftcard*.

The total value of the first prize draw is $500.

Date, time and place of draw 

The First Prize Draw will be conducted at 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Wednesday 30 October 2024. The Second Prize Draw will be conducted at 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Wednesday 13 November 2024. The Third Prize Draw will be conducted at 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Wednesday 27 November 2024. The Fourth Prize Draw will be conducted at 1.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Wednesday 11 December 2024.

All draws will be conducted at L2, 273 Camberwell Road, Camberwell VIC 3124. Winners will be identified through a random computer-generated draw.

Cancellation/modify clause 

If for any reason any aspect of these prize draws is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of Wallis Social Research, Wallis Social Research will contact the relevant Commissions in each state and territory to seek written approval to cancel, postpone or modify the prize draw(s). Wallis Social Research will then notify eligible and affected survey respondents of the change by email, or phone if a valid email address is not available.

Publication of winner names and unclaimed prizes

Publication of winner names

Winners will be notified by telephone and email, using the most recent contact details provided by the survey respondent, within 7 days of the draw. The first name and state of all winners of each prize draw will be published on the Participant Pathways survey website within 14 days after each draw.

Records relating to the prize draw, including the prize winner’s names and contact information will be kept on Wallis’ secure systems for 12 months.

Unclaimed prize draw

If any prizes are unclaimed by Tuesday 11 February 2025 an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 1.00pm (AEST) on Wednesday 12 February 2025 at the traders address specified below. The unclaimed prize draw will include all the participants who have not won any of the prize draws. The winners will be notified by telephone and email, using the most recent contact details provided by the survey respondent, within 7 days of the draw. The first name and state of all winners of each prize draw will be published on the Participant Pathways survey website within 14 days of the unclaimed prize draw.

All Participant Pathways Research Wave 5 survey prize draw winners will receive an eGiftcard.

After prize draw winners have been notified, winners will be emailed their eGiftcard prize using the email address confirmed at the time of notification.

The email will contain a link to GiftPay where the winner can choose how to spend the value of their eGiftcard across over 80 different retailers and charities listed on this website: https://www.giftpay.com.au/business/egifts.aspx

Each giftcard brand and denomination is subject to demand and availability. Therefore, particular brands and denominations of giftcard may not always be available.

If you do not receive your reward link from Wallis, phone 1800 113 444 to check its status (having first checked your email ‘junk’ folder).

Prize winners with no valid email address

If the winner does not have a valid email address, Wallis Social Research will send the winner’s prize using registered post. This will incur no additional cost to the prize winner. It does, however, require the winner to specify at which retailer they wish to redeem their giftcard in advance.
